My role

As the Product Designer, I lead the re-design of the main company’s marketing product: the cooporate websiste, with its hundres of pages. From discovery, to prototype to deployment, I worked along a product manager, a project manager, a researcher, two UI designer and 8 developers. The project was executed from 2022 to 2023.

In the first monht only, BV (business value) increased by 700% and understanding of company’s services increased by 79%.

 

The challenge

  • Outdated design: The website lacked a modern and user-friendly design, impacting user experience and brand perception.
  • Unclear information architecture: The information was scattered and difficult to navigate, making it hard for users to find what they needed.
  • Lack of conversion optimization: The website didn’t effectively guide users towards desired actions, like contacting BairesDev for services.
  • Technical: The website was not optimized for best permormance, hurting its SEO impact.
  • New brand: The new website was the first application of the new brand, presenting it to the world.

 

Discovery

  • User research: We conducted user interviews and surveys to understand user needs, pain points, and expectations.
  • Competitor analysis: Analyzed the websites of BairesDev’s competitors to identify best practices and potential differentiators.
  • Website analytics review: Reviewed website analytics data to understand user behavior and identify areas for improvement.
